The Moroccan youth movement “Gen Z 212” has unveiled a new policy document titled “A Youth Demands File for Morocco: Activating the Constitutional Pact and Realizing the Ambitions of the New Development Model,” outlining key demands following nationwide youth protests since September 27.
The document, divided into four chapters and published Thursday on the platform Discord, emphasizes the goal of “building a welfare state with equal opportunities,” noting that these demands are “not merely a wish list, but a roadmap to activate constitutionally guaranteed rights and achieve the objectives set by the state.”
The movement also called for “reforming governance in the health sector,” urging the immediate implementation of the Supreme Audit Institution’s recommendations through a transparent, performance-based model, with clear accountability mechanisms linking responsibilities to results.
