Netanyahu Appears Again in Tel Aviv Court Over “Case 4000”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared Tuesday before the Tel Aviv District Court again to respond to corruption charges in the so-called “Case 4000.”

According to the Israeli newspaper Maariv, Netanyahu’s hearings continued Tuesday at the Tel Aviv District Court for the 65th time.

The newspaper added: “Today, he is being questioned by attorney Yehudit Terush from the Tax and Economic Affairs prosecutor’s office regarding Case 4000, known as the Bezeq-Walla affair, in which Netanyahu is accused of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust.”

It continued: “According to the indictment, there was a bribery relationship between Netanyahu and Shaul Elovitch, who was an executive at Bezeq Communications.”
