European authorities announced the dismantling of a criminal network specializing in smuggling migrants from Vietnam to the United Kingdom via Belgium and France, with 19 suspects arrested.

Investigations revealed that the network carried out more than 200 operations, smuggling over 1,000 migrants and generating nearly €50 million in profits.

The network relied on trucks and small boats to cross the English Channel, charging migrants up to €50,000 each.

The operation was conducted through security and judicial coordination with the support of Europol and Eurojust, leading to the seizure of funds and equipment and the dismantling of the network’s logistical structure.
