Indian Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Tuesday that three militants were killed in a security operation near Srinagar, identified as responsible for the attack on tourists in Pahalgam last April, which escalated military tensions with Pakistan.

He explained that the operation was conducted jointly by the army, police, and paramilitary forces, resulting in the deaths of militants described as “dangerous and heavily armed.”
