Gaza Strip faced new floods on Tuesday, further worsening conditions for displaced residents, as heavy rains inundated the territory’s largest hospital and thousands of Palestinian tents, while hundreds more were swept away by a violent storm that began Monday evening.
The floods follow the recent polar storm “Byron,” which killed 14 Palestinians and damaged or flooded around 53,000 tents, further compounding the humanitarian crisis and exposing millions of civilians to renewed risks.
