Civil defense teams in Gaza said Saturday that Israeli airstrikes killed at least nine Palestinians and injured others, in a new violation of the fragile ceasefire.

Israeli media, citing security sources, reported that a strike inside Gaza City targeted Alaa al-Hididi, head of the armament department in the al-Qassam Brigades, according to the Israeli narrative.

The escalation comes amid fears that the fragile truce may collapse and that large-scale military operations could resume.
