Nine Thai soldiers were killed in a new wave of clashes along the border with Cambodia, according to the Thai Ministry of Defense.

More than 120 soldiers were injured in the confrontations, which also led to the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of civilians on both sides amid the escalation of the long-standing regional dispute.
