Dozens of settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Sunday under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, on the fifth day of Ramadan.

The Palestinian news agency reported that settlers performed Talmudic rituals in the mosque’s courtyards, amid restrictions imposed on Palestinian worshippers.

The incursions come as part of ongoing efforts to alter the status quo at the holy site and in the Old City, while residents of occupied Jerusalem face repeated harassment during such incidents.
