A man in his mid-twenties was killed and another injured on Friday in a shooting near the Boglundsången Mosque in Sweden, in what police believe is linked to disputes between rival gangs.

Authorities have launched a murder investigation and confirmed that the search for the perpetrators is ongoing.

Reports said the shooting occurred as one of the victims was leaving the mosque after Friday prayers.
