Over 20 Nations Call for Immediate End to Gaza War, Warn of Deepening Humanitarian Crisis

More than 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada, and Denmark, issued a joint statement on Monday urging an immediate end to the war in Gaza, warning of an escalating humanitarian catastrophe.

In the joint declaration, the foreign ministers emphasized that the aid delivery system currently implemented by the Israeli government is “dangerous, destabilizing, and strips the people of Gaza of their human dignity.”

“We, the undersigned, send a clear and urgent message: the war in Gaza must end now,” the statement read.

The signatory nations stressed that the crisis has reached intolerable levels, urging the immediate establishment of safe humanitarian corridors, the swift delivery of aid, and a cessation of hostilities to protect civilian lives.

The statement marks a significant escalation in diplomatic pressure on Israel to comply with international humanitarian law and facilitate unimpeded humanitarian access to Gaza.
