Pakistan announced Monday that 435 Afghans were killed and 630 others injured in ongoing military clashes between the two countries since February 22.
Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said Pakistani forces destroyed 188 checkpoints and military vehicles and targeted 51 locations in airstrikes, announcing the seizure of 31 positions.
Islamabad accuses Kabul of harboring “Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan,” an allegation the Afghan administration denies, amid escalating tensions along the Durand Line.
