Pakistan’s military said on Monday that 13 militants were killed in separate operations in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In a statement, the army’s media wing said the operations were carried out in two different areas based on intelligence reports, killing seven militants in the Mohmand district and six in the Bannu area.
The military said operations in the province were ongoing and alleged that the militants were backed by India and linked to the Pakistani Taliban.
