Pakistani authorities announced on Tuesday that at least eight people were killed and several others injured after a powerful car bomb exploded outside the paramilitary forces headquarters in Quetta, southwestern Pakistan.
Residents reported that the blast was so strong it could be heard miles away. Ambulances rushed to the scene, and rescue teams transported the wounded to nearby hospitals, according to The Associated Press.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, as local authorities continue their investigation.
