Pakistan Extends Airspace Ban on Indian Aircraft Until October 24

Pakistan has extended its ban on Indian aircraft from entering its airspace until October 24, the country’s Civil Aviation Authority announced Saturday.

Spokesman Saifullah Khan said the restriction applies to “all aircraft registered in India, whether owned, operated, or leased by Indian airlines, including military flights.”

The measure follows Islamabad’s earlier decision on April 24 to close its skies to all Indian-owned or operated planes in response to what Pakistani officials described as “aggressive actions” by New Delhi, according to The Nation.
