Pakistani authorities have threatened to expel more Afghans after 12 soldiers were killed in an armed ambush targeting a military convoy in the country’s northwest, near the Afghan border.
The Pakistani army announced that “information confirms the involvement of Afghan citizens,” calling on Kabul to prevent the use of its territory for attacks.
The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, describing it as “highly complex,” while the army announced it had killed 35 militants in separate operations.
