The “Global Freedom Flotilla” announced Wednesday that a Pakistani delegation, led by former parliamentarian Mushtaq Ahmad Khan of the Jamaat-e-Islami party, has joined its mission to Gaza aiming to break the Israeli blockade.

In a statement on its official account on the platform X, the flotilla confirmed the delegation’s participation alongside the Malaysian “Nusantara Resilience” convoy.

Around 20 ships departed from Barcelona, Spain, on Sunday, followed by another convoy that set sail from Genoa, Italy, early Monday. A third convoy is expected to depart from Tunisia on September 4 before all vessels join together and continue their journey toward Gaza in the coming days.
