A Palestinian was martyred on Tuesday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces east of Khan Younis, coinciding with the start of the exchange of hostages’ remains and martyrs’ bodies between Hamas and the occupation.

Medical sources said 45 martyrs’ bodies were delivered to Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis after being handed over by the occupation, with some showing signs of torture and field execution.

The occupation informed the United Nations it would allow no more than 300 aid trucks into Gaza starting Wednesday, excluding fuel and gas except for limited humanitarian purposes, as “pressure” on Hamas to hand over more hostages’ remains.

The International Committee of the Red Cross said the process “will take time” due to the difficulty of retrieving remains from under Gaza’s rubble.
