The Élysée Palace has announced that France will host a meeting of the “coalition of the willing” on Thursday to discuss developments in the war in Ukraine and advance the diplomatic track.

The meeting will be co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in attendance.

The summit comes as European nations seek to secure security guarantees for Kyiv amid a cooling of diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
