The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) has announced the withdrawal of all its fighters from Turkish territory to northern Iraq in an effort to ease tensions and prevent further border clashes.

The decision follows the group’s earlier declaration, which ended its armed struggle with Ankara.

The PKK urged the Turkish government to take political and legal steps to sustain peace, framing the move as part of its congress resolutions to end decades of conflict.
