Poland Bars Chinese-Made Vehicles from Military Sites Over Security Concerns

The Polish military said on Tuesday it had barred Chinese-made vehicles from entering its military facilities over concerns that sensors installed in them could be used to collect sensitive data.

In a statement, the army said the decision was based on security considerations, adding that such vehicles could be allowed access to secured sites if certain functions were disabled and additional safeguards implemented, in accordance with security rules at each facility.

The statement did not specify the types of vehicles or manufacturers involved, and there was no immediate comment from Chinese authorities.
