Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson Majid Al-Ansari announced on Tuesday that a meeting will be held in Doha with the negotiating delegation of Hamas to discuss U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan to end the war in Gaza.

Al-Ansari told a press conference that Egypt and Qatar delivered Trump’s plan to the Palestinian delegation late on Monday, adding that follow-up meetings will take place on Tuesday with the participation of a Turkish delegation.

He added that Egyptian intelligence chief Hassan Rashad led the Egyptian delegation during the handover of the plan and will attend Tuesday’s meeting with the Hamas negotiating team.

The spokesperson noted that the Hamas delegation has pledged to study the plan, emphasizing that it is still too early to provide a response, particularly given the late delivery of the plan on Monday evening.
