Qatar on Sunday unveiled the official mascot for the 2025 Arab Cup, selecting “Juha,” a well-known figure in Arab folklore, the tournament’s organising committee said.
The announcement in Doha comes a few weeks before the competition kicks off from December 1 to 18. Organisers said the choice of Juha reflects a character long associated with humor and satirical wisdom in stories passed down across the Arab world.
They added that the mascot is intended to bring a festive atmosphere to the 2025 edition, which will reunite Arab national teams and fans in an event celebrating regional culture and passion for football.
