Drones belonging to the Rapid Support Forces launched new attacks on the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and its international airport early Friday, the fourth consecutive day of aerial strikes.

Witnesses reported explosions and anti-aircraft fire above the airport, while the army said it was working to restore flight operations after regaining control of the city.

The attacks come amid renewed fighting despite international calls for calm and the resumption of political dialogue.
