A rights group said on Wednesday that the death toll in Iran has reached 2,550 as a result of protests that have been ongoing for more than two weeks.
According to a report published on its website by the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), based in the United States, the fatalities include 2,403 protesters, among them 12 under the age of 18, in addition to 147 members of the security forces.
The report also noted that 1,134 people were injured, while 18,434 others were arrested in connection with the ongoing events in the country.
