Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh is set to host the sixth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games from November 7 to 21, with the participation of more than 3,000 athletes representing 57 Islamic countries.
According to the organizing committee, athletes will compete across 23 sports, including athletics, swimming, 3×3 basketball, handball, volleyball, table tennis, futsal, fencing, karate, judo, wushu, taekwondo, boxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, jiu-jitsu, weightlifting, equestrian, camel racing, duathlon, and e-sports, along with para-athletics and para-weightlifting events.
The Games are considered one of the most significant sporting events in the Islamic world, aiming to strengthen solidarity among participating nations while providing a competitive platform that unites athletes under a shared sporting spirit.
