Airstrikes carried out by Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) hit a hospital in El Fasher, Darfur, killing at least 20 civilians — including a doctor and a nurse — and injuring 17 others.
The hospital was among the last functioning medical facilities in the besieged city, which has been under blockade for over a year.
The United Nations warned of a worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the region, urging the establishment of safe corridors for aid delivery amid ongoing clashes and mounting civilian casualties.
