The Rapid Support Forces announced full acceptance of international initiatives aimed at ending the war in Sudan, expressing appreciation for the efforts of the United States and leaders of the “Quad.”

The RSF accused commanders in the Sudanese Armed Forces of obstructing the peace process.

Meanwhile, the European Union imposed sanctions on Abdel Rahim Dagalo, deputy RSF commander, accusing him of involvement in serious violations, including targeting civilians, ethnically motivated violence, and obstructing humanitarian aid — acts that could constitute war crimes or genocide.
