Russia-Africa Partnership Forum Kicks Off in Cairo with Egyptian-Russian Backing

The second ministerial meeting of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum opened in Cairo on Saturday, attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, and officials from 50 African nations.

Abdelatty affirmed Egypt’s commitment to a fair global order and development support, while Lavrov highlighted Russia’s backing for Africa in trade and security.

The conference discusses cooperation in energy, infrastructure, and stability between the Russian bear and the continent’s nations.
