Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks in Beijing on Tuesday, reaffirming their comprehensive strategic partnership within the Eurasian integration framework.
According to Chinese state television, the two sides signed more than 20 bilateral cooperation agreements covering energy, space industries, artificial intelligence, agriculture, healthcare, scientific research, education, and media.
Russian energy giant Gazprom announced new strategic deals with the China National Petroleum Corporation to expand gas supplies through the “Power of Siberia” pipeline and develop an additional line. Meanwhile, the Russian Direct Investment Fund launched a strategic partnership to support Russian businesses in China and Chinese enterprises in Russia.
