Moscow and Kyiv announced on Thursday a new prisoner exchange involving 185 soldiers from each side, along with 20 Ukrainian civilians.

Russia’s defense ministry confirmed the return of its troops, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the country has brought back more than 7,000 citizens since the invasion began.

Ukraine’s interior ministry added that more than 2,500 Ukrainian prisoners remain in captivity.
