Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced Saturday the capture of Kolodizi in Donetsk and Voronove in Dnipropetrovsk, bringing the total to three towns in two days.

The ministry also reported shooting down 29 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 10 over Rostov.

The operations coincided with heavy Russian shelling of Ukrainian territories with 85 missiles and drones in the latest escalation in the east.
