Russia’s Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that its forces had seized the town of Vesok in Ukraine’s northeastern Sumy region and Svitlo in Donetsk.

The statement said units from the Northern Group liberated Vesok, while the Central Group freed Svitlo, continuing to target encircled enemy forces in Demetrov.
