The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Friday the closure of the Polish consulate in Kaliningrad, the Russian enclave bordered by Poland and Lithuania, in response to Warsaw’s decision to close the Russian consulate in Krakow.

Poland ordered the closure of the Russian consulate last May amid accusations against Moscow regarding a fire that broke out in a shopping center in the capital, Warsaw.
