Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow is ready to resume cooperation in the European energy market as oil and gas prices surge due to tensions in the Middle East and disruptions in supplies through the Strait of Hormuz.

Putin said Russia is prepared to work with European partners if it receives clear signals about restoring “long-term and non-politicized” cooperation.
