Russia said on Monday that talks with Ukraine and the United States in Abu Dhabi aimed at ending the four-year-old war had been postponed from Sunday to Wednesday due to the need to coordinate schedules among the three parties.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the talks “were indeed scheduled for last Sunday, but additional coordination of the three sides’ schedules was required.”

“Now, the second round will indeed take place on Wednesday and Thursday in Abu Dhabi. We can confirm that,” he said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Sunday that the trilateral talks between Kyiv, Moscow and Washington would be held on Wednesday and Thursday in the United Arab Emirates capital.
