Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, is gearing up to host the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9), one of the world’s leading economic gatherings, from October 27 to 30, 2025, under the theme “Unlocking Prosperity.”

The event is expected to attract an unprecedented turnout, with more than 8,000 participants, including 40 ministers and over 600 speakers representing governments, major corporations, and global investment funds. The forum underscores the Kingdom’s growing role as a central hub for dialogue on the global economy and technological innovation.

This year’s edition will see the participation of numerous world leaders, including China’s Vice President, as well as the leaders of Jordan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, Mauritania, Albania, Bangladesh, Cuba, and Rwanda, highlighting the strong presence of the Global South in Riyadh.

Among the high-profile attendees is Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, who is scheduled to deliver an address during the conference.
