FIFA, in collaboration with the Saudi Esports Federation, announced that Saudi Arabia will host the 2025 and 2026 editions of the FIFAe World Cup Finals, featuring competitions in “eFootball” and “Rocket League.”
The 2025 tournament will take place from December 10 to 19 at the SEF Arena in Riyadh’s Boulevard City, showcasing competitions on both console and mobile platforms. Three world champions will be crowned in each game category.
Organizers expect the event to surpass last year’s record-breaking viewership, which marked the highest global audience for an esports sporting event.
The move reinforces Riyadh’s growing reputation as a global esports hub and aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy to position the Kingdom at the forefront of the digital entertainment industry.
