Seven people were injured after a suspicious package was opened at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, near Washington, a day after President Donald Trump’s visit.

Officials said the package contained an unidentified white powder, prompting the evacuation of two buildings and a security lockdown.

CNN reported that all victims were hospitalized, while authorities launched an investigation to determine the substance and its origin.
