Seven people, including a child, were killed in Uttarakhand state in northern India when a helicopter carrying them for a Hindu pilgrimage in the Himalayas crashed.

The incident comes just days after an Indian Airlines plane crashed in Ahmedabad, resulting in the deaths of 241 out of 242 passengers.
