Egypt will host an international peace summit in Sharm el-Sheikh on Monday, bringing together more than 20 world leaders to discuss consolidating the Gaza ceasefire.

Diplomatic sources confirmed that the Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, will attend, while both the Israeli Occupation and Hamas have announced they will not take part in the signing ceremony.

The summit is expected to issue a “guarantee document” outlining mechanisms for implementing the ceasefire and rebuilding Gaza.
