Local sources said on Saturday that Israeli forces blew up an office belonging to the Fatah movement in the northern West Bank city of Nablus, causing extensive damage.
The sources said Israeli troops raided the office in Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, planted explosives inside and detonated them after withdrawing from the site.
The explosion sparked a fire and caused heavy destruction, the sources said, adding that Israeli forces ordered Palestinian residents living near the office to leave their homes.
There was no immediate comment from the Israeli military on the incident, and Fatah had not issued a statement.
