South Africa Allows Entry of 130 Palestinians After Initial Immigration Refusal

South Africa’s border authorities said on Friday that 130 Palestinians who arrived at Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport on Wednesday have been allowed to enter the country, after initially being denied entry for failing to meet immigration requirements.

According to the Border Management Authority, a group of 153 Palestinians arrived on a Global Airways flight from Kenya without providing sufficient details regarding their intended stay in the country. Their passports also lacked the required exit stamps indicating the point from which they had boarded the aircraft.
