Yemeni media reported on Wednesday that southern government forces have confirmed stability in Hadramout province and their full readiness to defend the south.

According to the reports, the southern forces urged citizens to remain calm and not be misled by rumors, stressing that the situation is stable and fully under control.

A military source was also quoted as saying that the southern government forces are “closely monitoring developments with a high sense of responsibility and full readiness.”

The source added that “our cause is the restoration of a homeland and legitimate rights, not a war against any authority.”
