Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez announced a series of measures aimed at “ending the genocide in Gaza.”
The steps include a permanent ban on arms sales to Israel and preventing ships carrying fuel for the Israeli army from docking in Spanish ports.
Sánchez stressed that Spain will pursue accountability for war crimes while increasing support for Palestinians.
The move is the latest in Spain’s repeated condemnations of Israel’s war in Gaza since 2023.
