Argentine President Javier Milei’s convoy came under attack by stone-throwers in Buenos Aires Province, forcing authorities to cancel a major election rally abruptly.
The presidential spokesperson confirmed that Milei was unharmed, but the incident has heightened tensions just days ahead of critical local elections.
The attack took place in Lomas de Zamora, a stronghold of the Peronist opposition, while Milei’s inner circle faces ongoing corruption allegations.
