Sudan: Army Expands Control in South Kordofan as RSF Accuses It of Killing Dozens of Students

The Sudanese army consolidated its control over several areas west of al-Abbasiya Tagali after battles with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the SPLM–North.

The areas recaptured by the army included Tabassa, al-Damra, al-Mureib, and Qardoud Jama, according to eyewitnesses.

Meanwhile, the RSF announced that 45 people—most of them school students—were killed in a drone strike on the Kamo area in the Nuba Mountains, describing the attack as a “war crime.”

The SPLM also condemned the strike, stressing it “will not stand idly by” regarding army violations.
