An Israeli occupation army patrol advanced into the village of Eastern Samdaniyah in central Quneitra countryside, establishing a temporary checkpoint at the town’s western entrance.
Local sources said soldiers stopped civilian vehicles and searched passersby but made no arrests.
The move is part of repeated incursions in the countryside of Daraa, Quneitra, and Damascus—violating the 1974 disengagement agreement and UN resolutions, as well as Syria’s sovereignty.
