The Syrian Army announced its takeover of Tabqa Military Airbase and the expulsion of Kurdistan Workers’ Party fighters in a major advance across Raqqa province.
Operational command confirmed recapturing the Rasafeh area, its historic citadel, and seven surrounding villages, along with oil fields in the north.
Army units also entered the towns of Maskanah and Deir Hafer east of Aleppo amid intermittent clashes with Syrian Democratic Forces.
Syria’s Ministry of Defense said operations are ongoing to secure the western Euphrates and drive Kurdish factions from areas Damascus considers “under occupation.”
