The Syrian Interim Government declared it will not participate in any scheduled meetings in Paris after the recent Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) conference in Hasakah, which called for a decentralized system.

An official source described the conference as a “severe blow” to negotiation efforts, confirming their refusal to sit with any party seeking to revive the “former regime.”

The conference, held in Hasakah, included over 400 religious and ethnic figures supporting decentralization.
