Syrian state media reported on Monday that armed groups shelled security force positions in the southern province of Sweida, in a new breach of a ceasefire.

State-run al-Ikhbariya TV quoted a security source as saying that armed groups fired mortar rounds at security positions in the Tal Hadid area of Sweida countryside. The report did not provide immediate details on casualties or damage.
